meanwhile... Luffy could just grow his legs really long and get really tall so he can see over the treetops and they'd know exactly where they were going. I've noticed they've never once had Luffy actually use his legs in that way (for actual height and the advantages it might bring) and I wonder if they did it purposefully so you'd have to rely on other methods or people for a solution. Still, I'd love to see it someday!

Carrot tried doing something similar by trying to jump on top of the trees this episode though they blocked her. The writing could've easily had Luffy get knocked continuously by the trees whether it was by a few or an overwhelming amount of them.

An attack like that because that dumb nami has a stupid stick.... Couldn't big mom have taken the soul out of the cloud!!
Chopper eating cream was very cute and brook Ian Sinclair disappointed dialogue when chopper mistook mermaid was soo funny and good!!!

From previous scenes it looks like it takes a minute for Big Mom to take souls and she's only thinking about getting her wedding cake.
